We are absolutely over the moon to announce that Cargiant has been shortlisted for not just one, but three prestigious Motor Trader Industry Awards for 2023. The awards take place on 22 November at the iconic Grosvenor House Hotel and is one of the most spectacular nights within the motor retail industry.
The categories we've been nominated for are:
- Used Car Retailer of the Year (100 Vehicles Plus)
- Business Manager of the Year (Scott Mclvor)
- Customer Care Award (100 Vehicles Plus)
This is an incredible honour and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and customer focus that our team brings to the table every single day.
Business Manager of the Year
We are particularly proud of Scott Mclvor, who has been nominated for Business Manager of the Year. His dedication and professionalism have been nothing short of exemplary, and this nomination is well-deserved.
What sets Scott apart from competitors is his commitment to helping people. His consistently high CSI scores regularly point towards his continued efforts to help all that cross his path. Something which has time and time again been proved as a founding characteristic, not just a business tactic. Highlighted further by his community engagement outside of work.
When the war broke out in the Ukraine he and his wife used social media to start a local relief campaign in his home town of Hemel Hempstead where people were dropping supplies such as nappies and clothes to his house. It got so big that the local business got involved and Scott negotiated for a warehouse to be used for the relief supplies to be collated before they were transported to the Ukraine.
His wife, who works for the emergency services, managed to get cancer medicines along with other medicines to be transported over to the Ukraine by drafting in Polish haulage firms (her heritage is Polish). After a few weeks the relief campaign got so big that Scott and his wife had to pass it on to local businesses to run.
When someone is working closely on something as important as personal finance, it is vital they hold key characteristics of empathy, support, and trust. Scott’s continued ambition to help people make him the perfect candidate for Business Manager of the year.
Customer Care
Being nominated for the Customer Care Award (100 Vehicles Plus) reinforces our commitment to customer satisfaction. We strive to make every interaction with Cargiant a positive experience, and this nomination is a nod to our success in this area.
Used Car Retailer of the Year
Being shortlisted again for the Used Car Retailer of the Year (100 Vehicles Plus) is a monumental achievement. It underscores our commitment to offering quality cars and exceptional value to our customers.
Our Past Achievements
2016
In 2016, we were honoured with the Highly Commended Award in the Used Car Retailer of the Year category. Our Finance Manager, Adam Tauroginski, also clinched the Finance and Insurance Salesperson of the Year award. The ceremony was a lavish affair, attended by key industry players.
2017
In 2017, we found ourselves on the shortlist for three Motor Trader Industry Awards, including Business Manager of the Year, Customer Care Award, and Used Car Retailer of the Year. Our Business Manager, Brian Finnegan, was particularly noted for his exemplary performance.
2018
We were finalists in the Aftersales Excellence Award in 2018, a category that recognises dealers who go above and beyond in providing exceptional after sales service.
We are eagerly looking forward to the awards ceremony and are hopeful for a positive outcome. Regardless of the results, we are immensely proud of our team and eternally grateful to our customers for their unwavering support.
